High Speed Pursuit in Lakewood
Early this morning police were called to reports of a group of gentlemen doing drugs in a car parked in front of the local 7-Eleven. When the officers arrived at the scene where the car was parked, they found four men in the car smoking marijuana. As the officers approached the vehicle, the driver got erratic and immediately drove off. Police chased the car in the city of Lakewood and ended up near Torrance where the driver pulled over and surrendered. The rest of the guys in the vehicle took off and tried to evade the police by running through a neighborhood. The police were able to catch three of the men in the vehicle who were all wanted for not showing up to court. One man is still on the loose and police are asking the public for any help with this case.
